Everything you need to know about Twisted Teams
Twisted Teams uniquely balances individual creativity with team collaboration. You write your own story based on your personal prompt, but you're also part of a team that supports each other with feedback. When one team member wins, everyone benefits through our team bonus structure!
By default, you will be placed in a random team. However, if you have a user(s) blocked, you will not be placed in their team. You can also invite people, after you sign up, to be on your team. If they sign up and accept your invite we will try to place you on the same team with at least one (but possibly more) of them.
Yes! You can "reroll" your prompt up to 3 if you're looking for different inspiration. This gives you some flexibility while still maintaining the challenge of writing to a prompt.
Professional judges review the stories and select the winners. This ensures a fair and comprehensive evaluation.
You retain all rights to your story. Twist in the Tale does not claim any ownership of your work. After the competition, you're free to submit your story elsewhere or publish it as you wish.
We understand that life happens! If you're unable to complete your story, you can withdraw from the competition. While this means you won't be eligible for individual prizes, your teammates can still win their individual prizes and team bonuses.
